Double Whammy

It is Women's Day and Holi . Jayshree & I are catching up to celebrate the two together. When I take a hard look at my canvas, I find almost all my friends emancipated, strong & believer in causes. All my women friends, at least!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 “Empower Rural Women – End Hunger and Poverty” is the UN International  Women's Day theme for 2012. The more popular one this year, being followed by many, is "Connecting Girls, Inspiring Futures", the theme of the website. Transcending the written document & making the theme work is what we strive to achieve.
Apar(left) has given me the best Women's Day gift.
